Leaving Shady Oaks Campgrounds

and will top the day off on our way home with a stop at the

Blue Sky Creamery in Ankeny

for a treat

Along the way, there are plenty of places to pause, like  14 porch swings, benches and picnic tables.

Each has a different view of the treetops, meadow, stream, gardens and walkways.

Along the elevated walkway there is a variety of colorful flowers and bright seasonal fun flags that create a festive mood.
